Our family utilized At Home Care of Louisiana for 24-hour sitter services for my aunt, and we were extremely pleased with the level of care provided. From the very beginning, the staff demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, reliability, and compassion. They were consistently punctual, maintained clear and timely communication, and remained attentive to my aunt’s needs at all times.

At home care came to my house same day I called. They sent a care giver next day when we needed them the most they responded quickly and both care givers were very nice and good with my grandma. I am very pleased.

Wow! What a blessing Brandon and his team have been to my family. From the time he walked into parents’ den. I thought, “this can’t be this easy.” Well with Lakosha and Erica on it, it was. They were so adaptable to all of our needs. Even when they changed in the blink of an eye. I can honestly say my Mom has thoroughly enjoyed her time spent with all of the special ladies that have taken extra special care of her.

Caregiver is not descriptive enough to characterize the amount of tenderness and heartfelt respect and compassion that these, “angels,” provided our uncle during his last days with us. When it was difficult to understand Uncle Johnny, Ms. Gloria would always say, “It’s okay, he’s just talking to the angels.” She loved fixing his Sunday steak and potatoes! What a wonderful company! Erica Easterly, their Client Care Coordinator, is a great communicator. And all of the Caregivers they employ are professional and kind. A particular Caregiver that stands out is Latasha Gipson (Tasha). My mom has dementia, and Tasha’s proactive attitude and gentle nature work wonders on my mom’s demeanor. Tasha gets my mother to participate more in life just by being so patient, positive and fun to be around.

At Home Care of Louisiana was a blessing to me and my family. Brandon came to our house in person and met with us. Our caregiver began immediately. Kim took such wonderful care of our mother. We started using At Home Care of Louisiana when my grandfather was admitted to the hospital and could only be released on 24/7 care. I was desperate to find some help and I thank God that I found At Home Care of Louisiana. They were so kind and understanding and went above and beyond to get us some help as quick as possible. Every care giver we had was amazing. One of the caregivers, Ti, became family to us. I can’t say enough about this company and the people who run it. They were amazing, caring, timely and gave me such peace knowing my grandparents were being well cared for when I couldn’t be there. If you are looking for care, I can’t recommend them enough.

My very independent 90 year old mother had a stroke in February that left her with aphasia. My sister and I both live in different states and had to rotate every 2 weeks to care for her. As our FMLA began to wind down we needed to find a service that would give Mom the proper care. Brandon came and met Mom and helped evaluate he needs and the team found the absolute perfect care giver for her. Tolanda and Mom bonded over her bluebirds and shared love of baking. Tolanda is the kindest most compassionate person I have ever met. We are eternally grateful for her and At Home Care.

I called on a Sunday afternoon, and Brandon called me back within hours...on a Sunday! He was gracious and informative and came to see my mom the very next morning for an assessment. Mom loved him as did my sister and I, and we signed up. Unfortunately...or fortunately...after two weeks, it became clear mom does not need the hours of care we signed her up for; she needs someone in the morning and again at night, but at this time, At Home Care does not have providers who can work split shifts. With caretakers there for many hours, mom felt she needed to entertain them, so she wasn't getting a lot of rest..lol. We sadly have to find another option ONLY because of the lack of split shifts. Tolanda and Kristy were wonderful, and while mom misses seeing them, we will sign back up if split shifts ever become available. Highly recommend this company!

We selected At Home Care of Louisiana to care for our father post hospitalization. Beginning with the inquiry call to Brandon, the staff responded very quickly and professionally. Each of the caregivers this agency provided were very qualified and attentive. The caregivers were always prompt in arrival and the agency quickly adapted to any scheduling changes. There was not a time that we were without care. The care team not only took good care of our dad physically, but they took the time to get to know him personally. They visited with him, learned about his interests and used that information to build a rapport which made my dad feel comfortable. If you are looking for excellent in-home care, I highly recommend this agency.

I reached out to At Home Care of Louisiana ahead of my mother's back surgery. We live in another state and couldn't be there to help her during her recovery period. The team with At Home Care did an amazing job matching her to a wonderful nurse and assisting my mom in her time of need. It brought so much comfort to my mother and peace of mind to my brother and I that she was being cared for.

Wonderful company! All of their caregivers were excellent, caring, respectful & compassionate. They were very responsible with finding replacements if one of the caregivers needed to cancel. Would definitely hire them again.

Words cannot adequately express the wonderful experience we had with At Home Care of Louisiana. My Mom elected to go into hospice, after a multi-week stent in the hospital. She wanted to GO HOME, and the doctors said she must have round the clock sitters. My Mom’s stay in hospice was brief, but each and every caregiver that we had from At Home Care of Louisiana was so compassionate and caring, and SO experienced. My Mom came home on oxygen, and each one of them had dealt with patients on oxygen and at end of life. They were so gentle with my Mom. They each asked what other tasks they could do - and readily and willingly did laundry and the dishes - even handwashing when I didn’t even request. On the night of my Mom’s passing, I spent the night, but a new caregiver was there too. My Mom was having a rough night, and the caregiver attended her initially without waking me, but she did when Mom asked for me, for which I am grateful. I administered some additional pain medicine provided by hospice, and my Mom was at peace. The caregiver and I sat on either side of my Mom, and gave me support and prayers as I reminisced with my Mom. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for their loving presence in her last week.

Brandon and his team gave immediate assistance and were hired to provide 24 hours care for my elderly friend. We appreciated that they were able to come on board without much notice and provide that level of care. Brandon is professional and accessible. Would highly recommend!
